PBD field Business Ethnicity Identifier updated:
- Valid identifying factors replaced with
OWNERSHIP_50_PERCENT_OR_MORE, OWNERSHIP_LESS_THAN_50_PERCENT, OWNERSHIP_UNSPECIFIED,
businesses will only be able to select one of these ownership factors.
- Businesses who have already identified as a Māori business based
on ownership (50% or more ownership by Māori), will be updated to align with to the new ’50
percent or more’ ownership factor.
- Businesses who have otherwise identified as a Māori business,
will be identified as ‘ownership unspecified’ and receive communication requesting them to
update their factors.
